You Don’t Need Perfect Data, You Need Consistent Data

Mark Stanley

A lot of teams wait.

They wait for cleaner reports. Better systems. More accurate numbers. THEN they’ll build the scorecard.

That delay costs more than imperfect data ever will.

Perfect data is not the goal. Consistency is.

If you can look at the same numbers every week, even if they’re not perfect, patterns start to show.

Trends become visible. Issues surface earlier. Decisions get easier.

But when the numbers change, or don’t show up, or get reviewed inconsistently, you lose all of that.

Now you’re back to guessing.

Let’s keep it simple.

Pick a handful of numbers. Track them weekly. Assign ownership. Review them no matter what.

That’s how you build traction. Not by waiting. By doing.

If you’re ready to stop waiting and start building a consistent scorecard, sign up for the next Data Workshop.

Stay on track,

Mark Stanley
